NTHU Spring 2027 Taiwan for International Degree Programs
NTHU Spring or National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), one of Taiwan’s top research universities located in Hsinchu (the “Silicon Valley of Taiwan”), is now accepting applications for its Spring 2027 International Degree Programs. Talented students from around the world are invited to apply for undergraduate (Bachelor’s), master’s, and doctoral programs.
Key Dates for NTHU Spring 2027
- Online Application Opens: August 3, 2026
- Application Deadline: September 30, 2026, 3:00 p.m.
- Admission Results Announced: December 1, 2026
- Scholarship Results Announced: Late December 2026
- Enrollment Confirmation Deadline: December 20, 2026
- Registration / Classes Begin: Early February 2027
Who Can Apply?
International students who meet the eligibility criteria under Taiwan’s Ministry of Education regulations for foreign students. In general:
- Hold foreign nationality and have never held Republic of China (Taiwan) nationality
- Do not qualify as Overseas Chinese students under specific regulations
- High school diploma for undergraduate programs
- Bachelor’s degree for master’s programs
- Master’s degree for doctoral programs
Available Programs
NTHU offers a wide range of degree programs across its colleges, including Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Life Science, Technology Management, Humanities & Social Sciences, and more. Many programs offer courses taught in English or have sufficient English-taught courses to meet graduation requirements.

NTHU International Student Scholarship
NTHU provides scholarships for outstanding international students. During the online application process, you can check the box to apply for the NTHU International Student Scholarship.
The scholarship may cover tuition, miscellaneous fees, and include a monthly living allowance (details vary by type and degree level).
