UNICEF Venture Fund Internship in Sweden 2026

Introduction:

UNICEF’s Office of Innovation in Stockholm, Sweden is seeking multiple interns to join its Venture Fund team. This is a 6-month, part-time internship that can be completed either in person in Stockholm or remotely. It’s an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates interested in innovation, emerging technology, and early-stage solutions that benefit children worldwide.

About the Program:

The Office of Innovation’s Venture Fund (unicefventurefund.org) is a pooled funding vehicle designed to finance early-stage, open-source technology that benefits children around the world. The fund focuses on identifying and investing in emerging technologies — including AI, data science, blockchain, and other frontier solutions — to help UNICEF shape markets and guide these technologies toward improving children’s lives.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. degree programme, or graduated within the past two years
• Relevant fields: health, political science, environmental sciences, youth development, education development studies, or related fields
• Good academic performance, demonstrated by recent university/institution records
• Familiarity with humanitarian contexts and the global development sector is an asset
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
