Scholarship Benefits

Undergraduate students:

• Recipients cannot hold this award alongside a Chinese government scholarship or other domestic funding at the same time. Continuation depends on an annual scholarship review.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid passport
• Applicants must be in good physical and mental health, with no infectious disease or condition that would affect normal study
• Undergraduate applicants must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
• Master’s applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Doctoral applicants must hold a master’s degree or equivalent
• Undergraduate applicants are generally 18 to 22 years old
• Master’s applicants are generally under 30 years old
• Doctoral applicants are generally under 35 years old

Language Requirements
