ICSP (International Cultural Service Program) Scholarships at the University of Oregon awarded to international students who has outstanding academic achievements and a capable commitment to advocating cross-cultural understanding. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and have strong leadership skills. Also, ICSP scholarships covers both partial and fully funded ranging from 7,500 to30,000 per academic year. The amount depends on applicant’s academic qualifications and financial need. Furthermore, accepted applicants of ICSP scholarships have to complete 80 hours per year of cultural service at the university. Which contains activities like; presentations, workshops, and performances that promote cross-cultural interaction with the students. In addition, duration is based on level of scholarships; four years for undergraduate students and two years for transfer students.

Process of applying: To be considered for an ICSP scholarship you should follow the direction bellow;

• First apply for admission to the University of Oregon
• Being admitted the application
• Complete the ICSP scholarship application form, that contains submitting an essay and two recommendation letters.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must be fully admitted to the University
• S citizens are not eligible
• Applicants must have the required GPA (3.0) and demonstrate financial need
• Students must agree to complete the 66-80 hours per year of cultural service required by the program
