Scholarship Benefits
- ¥1,000,000 (approx. $6,800) per year stipend after arrival in Japan

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a non-Japanese international student
- Have completed 16 years of education prior to enrollment
- Have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last two years
- Be in the top 10% of students both academically and institutionally
- Provide a letter of recommendation from the university president (contact TCU if not possible)
- Be not receiving any other scholarships
- Be willing to enroll in a Master’s and proceed to a PhD at TCU
- Submit a Prior Consultation Form and gain acceptance from a prospective academic supervisor
Application Process
- Submit Prior Consultation Form (Forms B & D) by 18 September 2025
- Wait for TCU to assign and approve a supervisor
- Submit full application package (Forms A, C, academic transcripts, recommendation letter) by 2 October 2025
- Apply separately to TCU Graduate Schools through: TCU Admissions Portal
