Job Description
Living Wisdom Afghanistan: Free Accredited Online High School for Afghan Young Women
They banned her from school. She found another one.
Living Wisdom Afghanistan is a free, fully accredited online high school that provides high-quality education to Afghan girls and young women (ages 14–18) who have been denied access to schooling under current restrictions. Through our partnership with Victory Afghanistan, we offer a pathway to an internationally recognized high school diploma, personal growth, and future opportunities — at no cost to students or their families.
Why This Program Exists
Afghanistan is currently the only country in the world where girls and women are systematically denied secondary and higher education. This educational ban has profound consequences for individuals, families, and the future of Afghan society.
Living Wisdom International, in collaboration with Victory Afghanistan, created this program to restore hope and opportunity. We believe every young woman deserves the chance to learn, grow, and become a leader in her community — regardless of the barriers she faces.
What Makes Living Wisdom Afghanistan Unique
- Completely Free — Tuition, materials support, and program access are provided at no cost to Afghan students
- Fully Accredited — Diploma recognized worldwide through accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
- Live Interactive Classes — Small-group online classes with real-time interaction, discussion, and personal attention
- Holistic Education for Life — Academic excellence combined with personal development, life skills, emotional resilience, and values such as perseverance, compassion, and service
- Pathway to Higher Education — Graduates receive an accredited diploma that supports applications to universities and online degree programs
- Teacher Training & Employment — The program also trains and employs Afghan women as instructors, creating local leadership and sustainable impact

What Students Experience
Students participate in live, interactive online classes in a supportive community. The curriculum follows the Education for Life approach, which develops the whole person — intellectual, physical, emotional, and personal growth.

- A caring international community of teachers and peers
For Parents and Families
We understand the challenges families face. This program is designed to be safe, flexible, and supportive. Classes are online, and the school works carefully to respect local circumstances while providing a high-quality education. Many students describe the program as a source of hope, structure, and renewed purpose.
For Donors and Supporters
Every Afghan student in this program receives a full scholarship. Your support makes this possible.
Donations help cover:
- Teacher salaries and training
- Technology and internet support for students when needed
- Program operations and expansion
- Opportunities for more young women to enroll each year
By supporting Living Wisdom Afghanistan, you directly invest in the future leaders of Afghan communities — young women who will carry knowledge, confidence, and resilience forward.
For Educators and Partners
We welcome collaboration with organizations, educators, and individuals who share our commitment to girls’ education. The program also creates paid teaching opportunities for qualified Afghan women, building local capacity and leadership.
Student Voices & Impact
Students frequently share how the program has transformed their daily lives — from hopelessness to purpose, from isolation to community, and from closed doors to new possibilities.
“Being part of this school means living your dream life — even when you are not in your favorite place, even when you don’t have everything you want.”
