Ministry of Higher Education offers some bachelor’s degree scholarships for Afghan nationals through the Uzbekistan Ministry of Higher Education and Ministry of Education. Afghan applicants can apply for these scholarships via Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan to Study in Termez Province of Uzbekistan with the following conditions.

Required Documents

Applicants should provide the following documents for applying Uzbekistan Bachelor’s Scholarships:

• High School Certificate (Shahadatnama) with a minimum 70% grade in the last three years of the secondary period
• Electronic identification card (E-Tazkera)

Scholarships Amount and Study Costs

The study costs per student in one academic year are USD 2500, out of which the Uzbekistan Government pays 50% of the costs in the form of scholarships for undergraduate students. These scholarships cover the following costs and expenses of students in Uzbekistan:

• Study costs
• Food/meals
• Necessary materials
• Gas, water, and Electricity bills
• Health services
