• You must be an international student who will be studying in Canada on a Canadian study permit.
•  You must have attended a recognized secondary school or completed your first year at a post-secondary institution.
• Your high school graduation must have taken place no earlier than one year before the academic year you are applying for.
• You must be seeking your first undergraduate degree.
• You must have achieved exceptional academic performance, earning all As or equivalent grades.
• You must demonstrate financial need that would otherwise prevent you from pursuing your studies at UBC.
• You must fulfill UBC’s admission criteria, including general requirements, degree-specific requirements, and English language proficiency. UBC’s admission requirements

How to apply?

Application will open on September 15, 2023

1. Read the application page for the International Scholars Program.
2. Chose your favorite field academic program you want to study, and which campus you want to choose.
3. To apply for the International Scholars Program, you must be nominated by your school or non-profit, and submit a reference from an academic referee.
4. Apply for the International Scholars Program by submitting the application by the November 15 deadline.
5. Submit your admissions application to UBC by the December 1 deadline.
