Overview

The Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), part of Thammasat University in Pathum Thani, Thailand, is inviting applications for the Excellent Foreign Students (EFS) Scholarship 2025-26.

  • Open to international students from all countries
  • Fully funded for Masters (2 years) and PhD (3 years)
  • No application fee required
  • No IELTS/TOEFL required to apply

Applicants can pursue postgraduate studies in a variety of fields, all taught in English.

Financial Benefits

The SIIT Graduate Scholarship covers all expenses including:

  • Complete tuition and educational support fees (full thesis support)
  • Living allowance: 10,000 Baht/month

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the SIIT Graduate Scholarships, applicants must:

  • Not hold Thai nationality
  • Have excellent academic records
  • Provide two strong recommendation letters (at least one from an academic institution)
  • Be in good health and of good conduct
  • Not be receiving any other scholarship
  • Academic Requirements:
    • Masters applicants: Bachelor’s degree with minimum GPA 2.75
    • PhD applicants: Bachelor’s + Master’s degree with minimum GPA 3.50
  • English Proficiency (optional for application):
    • TOEFL, IELTS, TU-GET, or TOEIC scores can be submitted, but not mandatory

Required Documents

Applicants need to submit:

  1. Statement of Purpose (at least one page)
  2. Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume
  3. Official transcripts (Bachelor’s/Master’s)
  4. Research papers, publications, or certificates (if any)
  5. Citizen ID card or passport
  6. Recent photograph (1 x 1.5 inches, JPEG format)

Note: Applicants can apply even without an English proficiency certificate.
