This program offers an eight-week immersive lab experience, specifically designed for first-year master’s and overseas bachelor’s students. - Most travel costs to and from Switzerland will be covered
- Reimbursement of up to CHF 1,000 for international flights and CHF 500 for domestic flights
Eligibility Criteria of Summer Research Program at EPFL:
1. Full-time enrollment in relevant life sciences studies at a university (biology, biophysics, chemistry, bioengineering, bioinformatics, quantitative biology, genetics, etc.)
2. GPA of 3.75 or above
3. Completion of at least two years of undergraduate study or first year of a master’s degree
4. Demonstration of a strong passion for biological sciences
5. Basic knowledge of biological sciences (prior lab experience is a plus)
6. English language skills (no documentation required, but a Zoom or Skype call may be requested for clarification)
Required Documents:
- CV (1-2 pages)
- Motivation Letter (max. 750 words)
- Explanation of 3 lab selections (2-3 sentences per lab)
- Official transcript of classes and grades from a university
- 2 Recommendation Letters
- Contact details of 2 referees
