The Students Airlift Scholarships for Afghan Female Students to Study in Germany is a fully funded opportunity provided by the Imagine Students Airlift Foundation. This scholarship aims to support talented Afghan female students who are passionate about Computer Science and are unable to continue their education in Afghanistan. Selected candidates will receive comprehensive financial and academic support to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Germany.

Opportunity Description

The Imagine Students Airlift Foundation offers 20 fully funded scholarships for female students from Afghanistan who wish to study Computer Science in Germany. This program is designed for Afghan women who are determined to continue their higher education despite current limitations in their home country.

Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements will receive support throughout the entire process, including mentoring, university selection, exam preparation, and relocation. The scholarship covers major academic and living expenses, enabling students to focus fully on their studies.

Scholarship Benefits

Selected applicants will receive financial and academic support covering the following:

  • Full tuition fees

  • Visa application costs

  • Travel expenses

  • Monthly living stipend

  • Academic and personal guidance through two dedicated mentors

    • One Afghan woman currently living in Germany

    • One European mentor

⚠️ Note: The Imagine Foundation does not cover expenses for family members. Only the selected student’s costs are funded.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Must be a female applicant

  • Must be unable to continue education in Afghanistan

  • Must be willing to study and live in Germany

  • Must show interest or prior experience in Computer Science

  • Must have completed at least four semesters of university-level education in Afghanistan for Bachelor studies

  • Applicants for Master’s degree must have completed a Bachelor’s degree

  • Must have English language proficiency at B2 level or higher

  • Must be ready to begin a new academic journey abroad

  • Proof of completed university semesters

Application Procedure

To apply for the Students Airlift Scholarship:

  3. Applicants will prepare for and take the TOEFL test

  4. Submit official academic documents to a German university

  5. Final selection will be made by the Imagine Students Airlift Foundation
