SAARC scholarships are include South Asian University in India, and South Asian University is an international university established by the governments of the eight members of the South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC); Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. The University has now moved to its own beautiful hundred acres’ campus at Maiden Garhi.

Brief Scholarships:

South Asian University in India offers for each Master’s program, Indian student and non-Indian student who secures the highest rank in the SAU Entrance (20 and 21 April 2024) Test in their respective category (U.S. $10 (INR 830)):

• A start-up allowance of INR 5,000 for Indian students and INR 10,000 for non-Indian students, and a pack-up allowance of INR 5,000 for Indian students and INR 10,000 for non-Indian students.
• Tuition,
• Hostel fees,
• One monthly stipend of INR 7,000,
• For master degree; The hostel fee for the SAARC region students is U.S. $60 per academic semester plus mess charges ranging between US$ 50 to 75 per month.
• For the Medical Group Insurance Scheme of about INR 1,50,000.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who meet the following requirements can apply to South Asian University:

1- For undergraduate:

• For B.Tech. (CSE) & Dual Degree B.Tech and M.Tech (CSE): For Mathematics and physics/Chemistry Passed Class 12 of High school (minimum 75% marks).
• For M.Tech. (CS): For Computer Science and Engineering or relevant area (Minimum 55% marks in aggregate).

2- For Master’s Program:

• Must be minimum 15 years of education under 10+2+3 pattern. And minimum 50% marks for M.A. courses–55% for M.Sc. courses. Master’s program duration: 2 years).

3- For Ph.D. Program:

• Need at least five years of College/University education after completing 12 years of scoring.

1-SAARC Nationals:

• ID with photo
• Passport of size photo
• Scanned of Signatures
• Mark-Sheets of Educational Qualifications (Certificates).
• CV (Optional).
• National Fellowship Offer Letter for Master and PHD.
• Proof of Funds by any Government agency for pursuing a Ph.D.

2-Non-SAARC Nationals

• ID with photo (should be 100 KB).
• Passport of size photo (should be 100 KB).
• Scanned of Signatures (must be PNG or JPG).
• Mark-Sheets of Educational Qualifications (Certificates) PDF.
• CV (Optional) PDF.
