“During her second year here, in 8th grade, I was her class teacher. She read *Faust* and discussed it with me. It was fascinating and enjoyable. But sometimes she would get tired and exhausted—after all, she was only 7. We let her sit by the window or go to the library. We always tried to keep a balance—allowing her to still be a child while also nurturing her intellect.”

We treated Lina as a human being, not just as a gifted student,” said the school’s principal, Christoph Oldeweme. “That mutual trust was the key to her growth and success.”
