Opportunity Description: 

The Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) at ETH Zurich supports outstanding Master’s students. and it is currently open for applications for the academic year 2023/24. The ESOP provides comprehensive support to Master’s degree candidates, including financial assistance, mentorship, and access to the ETH Foundation’s network. This scholarship covers the entirety of living and tuition costs throughout the duration of the Master’s program.

Eligibility/Prerequisites for Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP):

• Bachelor’s Degree Performance: Applicants must have achieved a very good result in their Bachelor’s degree program, ranking in the top 10% (equivalent to grade A).
• International Student

• Students who are already enrolled in a Master’s degree program at ETH Zurich or hold a Master’s degree are not eligible for ESOP.

• Preliminary proposal for your master’s degree thesis.
• It is important that the pre-proposal is original work developed by you and adheres to established scientific citation guidelines.
• Admission Procedure: The admission process will disqualify applicants who engage in plagiarism or intentionally or negligently provide false information.
• Reference Individuals: If your study program does not specifically request references, please include the names of two reference individuals (professors) in your ESOP application.
• The selection process may involve a phone or video interview in February. Therefore, it is essential that you can be contacted at the phone number provided in your CV.
