Each years, the Ministry of Education, Research, Science, and Sport of the Slovakia Republic Government offers 70 scholarships for students their bachelor degree or Master degree or PhD in the Slovak Republic.

There are 8 scholarships allocated for Afghan Students ( for the check list here to know the number of scholarships allocated to your country) Students interested in studying in Slovakia can must be apply from March 25, to May 30, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for the SlovakiaAid Governmental Scholarship 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Benefits and Coverage:

Selected scholarship recipients will receive comprehensive financial support, including:

Full tuition fee coverage at Slovak higher education institutions

Monthly stipend to cover living expenses
Health insurance coverage during the entire duration of their studies

Bachelor and Master Degree’s:

Monthly for bachelor and master scholarships of 400 Eu, and Monthly for bachelor and master scholarships stipend for public university 80 Eu.
Study commencement stipend 100 Eu, and study of completion stipend 200 Eu.

Ph.D. Degree’s:

Monthly for Ph.D. scholarships of 734 Eu, and stipend for public university 240Eu.
Study commencement stipend 100 Eu, with study completion stipend 200 Eu.

language preparation:

Monthly for language preparation scholarships of 400 Eu, stipend for public university 80 Eu.

Required Documents:

Applicants must submit the following documents as part of their application:

For bachelor and master degree’s, be between the age of 18 – 26 years and for Ph.D. degree’s be between the age of 23 – 35 .
