Job Description

Japan-Afghanistan Language School Pathways (JALP) 2026 – Study Japanese in Japan with a Full Scholarship

Japan-Afghanistan Language School Pathways (JALP) offers Afghan youth a unique opportunity to study Japanese for two years at private language schools across Japan. The program is designed for Afghan nationals who are currently in Afghanistan seeking evacuation or who fled the country after August 2021.

From 2022 to 2025, a total of 21 Afghan students successfully moved to Japan through JALP with the support of Japanese language schools, companies, NGOs, individual donors, and local communities. Selected students receive full tuition scholarships, enabling them to reach the Japanese proficiency level required for university admission or employment in Japan.

In April 2026, the program will admit 8 new Afghan students.

Program Benefits
