Airbus Global Graduate Programme (AGGP) 2027

Introduction:

Airbus has officially opened applications for its Global Graduate Programme (AGGP) 2027. This is a 24-month career programme. It builds the next generation of experts and leaders at Airbus. Therefore, graduates gain both technical and soft skills through rotational placements, workshops, and job shadowing. So far, more than 500 alumni from 40+ nationalities have completed the programme across 13 countries.

Important: Airbus closes applications once it receives enough candidates. As a result, this often happens before the official closing date. So, apply early to avoid missing out.

About the Programme:

Over two years, Airbus develops your skills in several ways. First, you rotate through different placements — national rotations last 3, 6, 9, or 12 months, while international rotations last 3 or 6 months. However, Airbus does not guarantee international rotations. In addition, you take part in hands-on workshops and job shadowing. Every year, Airbus also brings the full global cohort together for a residential Development Week at its Leadership University.

During the programme, you work on real projects. For example, you might contribute to aerospace engineering, digital transformation, supply chain management, procurement, finance, or business administration.

Furthermore, Airbus offers you a permanent employment contract from day one. This is not a temporary scheme. After you finish your rotations, you return to your home team for at least 12 months.

Eligibility Requirements:

To apply, you need to meet these criteria:

  • You have a maximum of three years of relevant work experience after graduation (internships and student jobs don’t count)
  • You hold a degree-level qualification, or you’re about to graduate before the programme starts
  • You communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal
  • For certain roles in Space, Defence, or government-linked operations, Airbus may require specific citizenship or residency due to security clearance rules

Locations & Fields:

Airbus typically offers roles in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, the USA, Canada, Poland, India, China, and Singapore. You’ll find opportunities across engineering, digital technology, cybersecurity, supply chain, procurement, HR, and finance.

Visa & Salary:

Airbus supports visa applications wherever possible. Moreover, the company helps cover related costs. Salaries vary by location and division, and Airbus benchmarks them against local industry standards. Note: Airbus cannot sponsor Skilled Worker visas for UK-based AGGP roles. Instead, UK applicants need existing right to work, or eligibility through routes like the Graduate Visa or Youth Mobility Scheme.

Application Process:

Follow these four steps to apply:

  1. Submit your application online through the Airbus careers portal. Note: you may only apply to one AGGP position per cycle.
  2. Complete the online assessment. Airbus uses a gamified tool (Arctic Shores) to evaluate your decision-making and problem-solving skills. You get 3 days to finish it.
  3. Attend the virtual assessment centre. Here, Airbus evaluates you through group exercises and interviews.
  4. Receive your offer. If you succeed at interview, Airbus typically sends an offer within a week.

Applications open every September, but only for a short window. Some roles close earlier than others, so check listings often.
