Neukom Postdoctoral Fellows Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
- PhD in any discipline, or a DMA or MFA, completed or expected by September 2027
- Research interests that strongly intersect with the theme of computation
- A demonstrated interest in multidisciplinary, cross-departmental research
- Evidence of the ability to think outside traditional disciplinary paradigms
- A history of collaborative work across disciplines, combined with evidence of independence and initiative
How to Apply?
- Review the eligibility criteria and confirm your PhD, DMA, or MFA status before applying.
- Prepare your curriculum vitae, publications list, and a statement of research interests of no more than two pages, including a short description of the research you would pursue as a Neukom Fellow.
- Prepare a description of which Dartmouth departments and faculty you would like to work with, and why cross-departmental engagement would strengthen your research. Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact prospective mentors at Dartmouth before submitting their application.
- Arrange three referees who can speak to the aims of the fellowship. Referees receive an email invitation to upload their letter directly and have up to 7 days after the deadline to submit.
- Optionally include a writing sample in English (or comparable creative work), a teaching statement, and a cover letter.
