About the Graduate Horizons Program
The Graduate Horizons Program, organized by the Refugee-Led Research Hub (RLRH) at the University of Oxford, is a 5-month online mentorship and application support initiative for students affected by displacement, such as refugees, asylum seekers, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and stateless individuals.
Designed for those planning to start a Master’s degree in the 2026–2027 academic year, this program pairs participants with Oxford graduate students or alumni for 1:1 mentorship and provides specialized workshops to strengthen university and scholarship applications.

Information Sessions
Interactive sessions will introduce the program, explain the application process, and answer questions. If you cannot attend live, recordings are available upon request at graduatehorizons@refugeeledresearch.org.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Have experienced forced displacement (refugee, asylum seeker, IDP, stateless)
- Hold a BA degree with strong academic results (2:1 UK equivalent or GPA 3.5+)
- Be proficient in English for research purposes
- Plan to apply for a graduate program beginning in 2026–2027
- Complete the application form in full by the deadline

Selection Process
