UNICEF is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join their team as a Messenger in Kabul, Afghanistan. As a Messenger, you will play a vital role in providing logistical support and ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative tasks, contributing to the organization’s mission of delivering aid and assistance to children in need.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Messenger, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Delivery Services: Collecting and delivering documents, packages, and other items within and outside UNICEF premises in a timely and efficient manner.

2. Administrative Support: Assisting with photocopying, scanning, filing, and other administrative tasks as required. and runs printers, scanners, and photocopiers.

3. Vehicle Maintenance: Ensuring regular maintenance and cleanliness of assigned vehicles, including fueling and reporting any mechanical issues.

4. Documentation: Accurately recording and maintaining logbooks, vehicle usage, and other relevant records. or inserts materials into envelopes, franks outgoing mail, applies labels, parks supplies and equipment received for deployments.

5. Communication: Providing updates and reports to the supervisor as necessary.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Messenger job vacancy, candidates should meet the following criteria:

1. Education: Completion of secondary education is required.
2. Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant work experience as a messenger or driver.
3. Language Skills: Proficiency in English and local languages (Dari and/or Pashto) is required.
4. Driving License: Valid driving license (Category C) with a clean driving record is essential.
5. Skills: Good knowledge of traffic rules and regulations, basic vehicle maintenance, and ability to use GPS/navigation systems.
6. Nationality: Open to Afghan nationals only.
