UNICEF is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join their team as an Administrative Associate in Kabul, Afghanistan. As an Administrative Associate, you will provide crucial administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of UNICEF’s programs and initiatives, contributing to the organization’s mission of promoting children’s rights and well-being.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
As an Administrative Associate, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Administrative Support: Providing administrative assistance in organizing meetings, workshops, and events, including logistics, documentation, and coordination.
2. Communication: Drafting and preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to UNICEF’s guidelines.
3. Data Management: Maintaining and updating databases, records, and files, both electronic and hard copies.
4. Travel Arrangements: Assisting with travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and processing travel claims.
5. Budget Monitoring: Assisting in monitoring and tracking budget expenditures, providing support in financial and procurement processes.
6. Coordination: Collaborating with other team members and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Administrative Associate job vacancy, candidates should meet the following criteria:
1. Education: Completion of secondary education is required. A diploma in administration, business management, or a related field is desirable.
2. Experience: A minimum of six years of relevant work experience in administrative or clerical roles, preferably in an international organization or NGO.
3. Language Skills: Proficiency in English and local languages (Dari and/or Pashto) is required.
4. Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with database management.
5. Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and ability to prioritize tasks.
6. Nationality: Open to Afghan nationals only.
