Job Description

Position Definition

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for executing city-level sales activities, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring strong retail coverage within the assigned territory.

Key Role

The primary objective of this role is to achieve city revenue targets, expand retail distribution, and effectively lead a three-member sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and manage 3 Sales Representatives
  • Oversee relationships with 2–5 key distributors and wholesalers in the assigned territory
  • Plan daily sales routes and deploy the sales team efficiently
  • Monitor stock levels at distributor and retail outlets to prevent stock shortages
  • Execute in-store promotional activities and ensure correct placement of POS materials
  • Coordinate with the finance team to resolve distributor payment and credit issues
  • Prepare weekly sales reports covering volume, revenue, and coverage
  • Conduct monthly distributor business review meetings

Job Requirements

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales, including at least 2 years in a team leadership role
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape in the assigned city
  • Existing relationships with local distributors or wholesalers (preferred)
  • Valid motorcycle or car driving license with willingness to travel daily within the city
  • Strong team management, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto, with basic proficiency in English
  • Results-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet sales targets
