The Politecnico University of Turin offers 14 scholarships for Afghan students enrolling in master’s programs for the academic year 2025-2026, supported by a legacy in honor of Mrs. Josephine Teresa Pratt and Lng. Silvano Zorzi.

- Application Period:
- First Call: 12/2024 – 30/01/2025 (Results: 30/03/2025)
- Second Call: 03/03/2025 – 03/04/2025 (Results: 06/06/2025)
Benefits
- Stipend: €8,000/year (net amount approximately €7,373.27/year, subject to tax conditions)
- Tuition fee exemption for the academic years 2025/26 and 2026/27 (only for recognized refugees)
- Bureaucratic assistance for Italian residence permit application
Eligibility Criteria
- Afghan citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a foreign institution
- Minimum of 15 years of global schooling, including at least 3 years at the university level (180 ECTS credits)
- Fulfillment of admission requirements for a Master’s program at Politecnico di Torino
- No previous enrollment in any Italian university

- Self-certificate of enrollment in another Italian university (if applicable)
Application Procedure
- Register on the Politecnico di Torino Application Portal.
- Log in with the credentials sent to your email.
- Complete the application form.
- Select up to two Master of Science programs.
- Indicate interest in the Afghan student scholarships.
- Upload all required documents.
- Submit your application by clicking the “SAVE and SUBMIT” button.
Deadlines
- 1st Call: January 30, 2025
- 2nd Call: April 3, 2025
Selection Process
- Scholarships will be awarded based on admission requirements and timely applications.
- Priority will be given to Afghan students with refugee status.
- Candidates will be ranked based on GPA, with younger candidates favored in case of ties.
- Provisional rankings will be published by 20/06/2025; acceptance required by 27/06/2025
