The NYCEDC Summer Internship Program 2026 is a competitive, full-time paid 10-week internship hosted by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC). This premier program provides hands-on experience for students and early-career professionals interested in public service, economic development, urban planning, real estate, finance, innovation, technology, marketing, public affairs, and more.

Since 2014, NYCEDC has trained more than 600 interns, offering real-world exposure to high-impact city projects, policy development, and public-private initiatives. The 2026 program aims to nurture the next generation of city leaders through practical assignments, mentorship, workshops, and professional networking across multiple NYCEDC departments.
