Call for the Twelfth Ousanae-Sisanah Festival

Opportunities Description:
“Balkh Story House,” in collaboration with Ibn Sina University, is pleased to announce the twelfth round of the Ousanae-Sisanah Festival. Afghan enthusiasts worldwide, who are under the age of 30, are invited to participate by submitting their short stories in the Persian Dari language to this festival.
Submission Guidelines:
– The submitted work must be a short story.
– Each participant may submit only one entry.
– The story should be less than 5,000 words and submitted as a Word file to one of the following addresses:

– Participants must also include a scanned copy of their ID card or passport (for age verification) along with their story.
– The theme of the story is open-ended, and the judging will be based on the following criteria:
☑️ Prose quality
☑️ Story structure
☑️ Character development

Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three entries as follows:
☑️ First place: 15,000 Afghanis
☑️ Second place: 10,000 Afghanis
☑️ Third place: 5,000 Afghanis
