Master the Art of Journalism with the Online Course by Ettela’at-Rooz

Opportunities Description:
The daily newspaper “Ettela’at Rooz” in collaboration with the Institute of War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) is organizing its first round of online journalism training. Accepted participants will undergo a three-month intensive theoretical training in the fundamentals and principles of journalism, followed by a three-month internship or practical journalism exercises. During the internship period, participants will write short and long reports under the supervision of mentors. Individuals who successfully complete the theoretical and internship courses and pass the final examination with excellent grades will receive a certificate from the IWPR and Ettela’at Rooz newspaper.
Participation in this training program is free of charge. Interested individuals from all provinces of Afghanistan can register for this program. Due to the limitations imposed on women and girls in Afghanistan, priority will be given to female applicants. Additionally, applicants with prior training or experience in journalism, creative writing, field research, and social studies will have a higher chance of acceptance.
This training program will be conducted online. Applicants must have access to the internet.
