Job Description:

The manager of the Community-Based Nutrition Program (CBNP) oversees the execution and monitoring of the nutrition program in the field, ensuring compliance with CBNP and national guidelines. They work closely with local partners to achieve program objectives and report directly to the base leader.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in MD or a related field preferred.
Contract Duration: 1 Year performance based, possibility of extension

Human Resources Management:

  1. Fulfilling recruitment for the national technical staff under PM responsibility
  2. The administrative/HR departments define the prerequisites for the vacant positions and if necessary, adapt the referent job profile.
  3. Welcoming and briefing new employees working under his or her direct supervision
  4. Implement training related to operational requirements and the identified training needs
  5. Manage and support the team he or she is supervising
  6. Evaluate the performances of his team members
  7. Identify potential changes in members of team and provide feedback to Program manager

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and oversee program implementation
  2. Coordinate with partners
  3. Plan activities with support departments
  1. Use monitoring tools
  1. Support logistics base with material purchases
  1. Assess activity relevance and effectiveness
  1. Propose program adjustments
  1. Ensure program results are achieved
  1. Anticipate and solve program-related problems
  1. Adapt programs to changing environment
  1. Contribute to program budget development and follow-up.

Reporting/Communications/Representation:

  1. Work closely with field team for quality reporting to Kabul
  2. Write reports and annexes concerning his program for donor reports and/or amendment
  3. Ensure compliance with reporting deadlines and guidelines.
  4. Maintain operational communication network and positive relations with tall partners and other National international agencies in cooperation with the coordination team
  5. Representation in the meetings or forums concerning the program in his place of employment
  6. Represent Organization on request and/or delegation
  7. Write the administrative documents to be signed (MOU handover…) jointly with governmental authorities communities or partners
  8. Prepare handover reports before the end of his employment contract and forward them to the relevant persons.
  9. Any Other task assign by the line supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  1. Must be Afghan National
  2. Bachelor’s degree in MD or a related field preferred.
  3. Must have at least 5 years work experience in relevant filed
  4. Must Understand Local Languages (Dari & Pashto)
  5. Good interpersonal and Communication skills
  6. Capable, honest, active with good moral
  7. Good behavior and capacity
