Job Description
Position Definition
The Sales Representative will carry out daily retail sales activities, merchandising, and order collection across the assigned sales route or territory.
Key Role
The main objective of this role is to increase product availability, improve visibility, and drive sales performance within assigned retail outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit a defined number of retail outlets daily, including traditional shops and supermarkets
- Take orders from retailers and submit them through the territory manager
- Ensure proper product display using approved POS materials
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and product freshness
- Inform retailers about product features, pricing, and ongoing promotions
- Collect market and competitor information, including pricing and new product launches
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shop owners and managers
- Meet daily and weekly sales targets set by the territory manager
- Submit daily sales reports and provide market feedback
Job Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- 1–3 years of sales experience (FMCG experience is preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong communication and persuasion abilities
- Valid driver’s license
- Physically able to conduct daily field visits for 6–8 hours
- Basic numeracy skills and ability to use a smartphone for order entry
- Honest, disciplined, and target-focused work attitude
- Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto
- Minimum qualification of high school diploma
