Job Description
Key Role
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating consumer demand through effective use of mass media advertising, promotional campaigns, and strategic brand positioning across various channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop marketing strategies and campaign concepts for new and existing product launches
- Coordinate marketing activities with MOBY creative teams, including Tolo TV, Lemar TV, radio, and social media platforms
- Plan, schedule, and book media placements across television, radio, digital, and outdoor channels
- Design and implement consumer promotions such as discounts, bundles, and product sampling
- Create and manage in-store point-of-sale materials, including posters, shelf talkers, and danglers
- Oversee influencer collaborations and digital content production
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, including reach, brand awareness, and sales impact
- Manage monthly marketing budgets and prepare ROI performance reports
- Conduct competitor brand analysis and market research activities
Job Requirements
Candidates applying for this position should meet the following qualifications:
- 3–5 years of professional experience in marketing within the FMCG or media industry
- Demonstrated success in launching brands or marketing campaigns in Afghanistan
- Strong knowledge of television, radio, and digital media planning
- Creative thinking skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience working with media agencies or internal creative teams
- Proven ability in budget control and return-on-investment analysis
- Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto, as well as English
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
