Aga Khan Health Services–Afghanistan (AKHS-A) is hiring a TSFP Assistant (Targeted Supplementary Feeding Program Assistant) for Sildan SHC, Khawhan District, Badakhshan Province. This full-time role focuses on supporting the OPD MAM services, managing nutrition supplies, screening children, and providing nutrition assistance to moderate acute malnutrition cases in line with the IMAM protocol.

Job Responsibilities
The TSFP Assistant will perform the following duties:
- Officially receive all OPD MAM supply materials and accurately record them.
- Maintain and manage all OPD MAM (TSFP) supplies and register distributed items in relevant stock cards.
- Register required patient information in both registers and ration cards.
- Distribute RUSF, LNS, and Super Cereal to children with moderate acute malnutrition and to pregnant and lactating women, following IMAM protocol.
- Prepare key messages for the proper use of RUSF, LNS, and Super Cereal for target groups.
- Prepare monthly stock reports for the OPD-MAM program.
- Manage OPD MAM and OPD SAM services during high patient flow.
- Conduct screening of children under 5 at BHCs or SHCs.
- Provide all OPD MAM and SAM services at the assigned health center.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Prepare weekly distribution reports.
- Immediately report any nutrition-related supply issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure safe and proper arrangement of nutrition stock.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must hold graduation documents from a recognized nursing institute.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in nutrition.
- Strong communication skills with good interpersonal and social abilities.
- Female applicants are strongly encouraged.
